Nicholas Fox
Nicholas Fox is a Partner and the Local Practice Leader of Mourant’s Litigation and Insolvency department in the Cayman Islands office. He joined Mourant in 2010 and has over 12 years’ experience of litigation in the Cayman Islands and BVI.
Nicholas has extensive experience in fraud and asset tracing, insolvency and financial services litigation, as well as regulatory matters. He has acted on a large number of complex, high value fraud and asset tracing cases. He has advised a substantial number of liquidators and receivers on many complex and high-value cross border disputes and restructurings. He also regularly advises and acts in cases in the financial services and cryptocurrency sectors.
Before joining Mourant, Nicholas worked at another leading offshore law firm. Prior to that, he spent over seven years practising at the London Bar. Nicholas is also a fellow of INSOL. He has four children, two dogs, one wife (RISA lawyer of the year 2021/22) and is a great admirer of Jurgen Klopp.
