Established in 2012, Cayman Islands based RISA has swiftly grown to over 400 members. Focusing on delivering educational and networking events, RISA’s mandate is to investigate and share best practices amongst industry practitioners in the fields of insolvency, restructuring and litigation. The Cayman Islands is respected worldwide as an international financial services centre built upon solid, yet appropriate regulation, a legislative structure based on English Common Law and a stable political environment. It is the domicile of choice for the world’s hedge funds and private equity funds with over 10,000 registered alternative investment entities.

Bhavesh Patel
Bhavesh is an experienced litigator specialising in commercial litigation and contentious trusts and private client disputes. He has advised international clients on a variety of high profile matters and frequently appears before the Cayman and BVI Courts. He is a regular speaker at international conferences, and often provides expert evidence on matters of Cayman or BVI law in proceedings.

Farrah has been practising as an attorney in the Cayman Islands since 2016. Prior to that she practised in England where she qualified as a barrister and a solicitor. Farrah has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation and corporate insolvency and is an experienced advocate who regularly attends court for contested interim applications, other interlocutory hearings and trials.

Britt is a Manager with BDO CRI (Cayman) Ltd., specialising in corporate recovery and insolvency. She began her career with BDO in 2017 in audit in South Africa before relocating to the Cayman Islands in 2019 and then transitioning into restructuring and insolvency.
